However, it is worth knowing that we are used mostly between Budapest and Vienna main train station during a trip to Munich, as the travel time is shorter and the price is cheaper than a full-day private transfer. In Hungary, even the local people do not like to use the train, because unfortunately it is not reliable and not very comfortable, old. The driving time between Budapest and Vienna main train station is just 2,5 hours..
